HOW ARE THE PRODUCTS PACKAGED?
Our products are packaged in a re-sealable zip bag with a tear notch & they are self-standing for easy storage. The bags are heat sealed for that extra layer of protection while in transit and will also keep your products fresh until you are ready to use.

The bags are laminated with a layer that protects the products from external contamination, odours, moisture, and oxygen. This foil layer also helps in the elongating the shelf life of our products.
HOW DO I STORE THESE PRODUCTS?
The best place to store dehydrated vegetables, powders, herbs & spices is in a cool dry place.

Once you have torn the heat-sealed tab off the packet and are re-sealing the bag again, please remove as much air from the pouch as possible & then re-seal it. Removing the air gives to products a longer shelf life.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF DEHYDRATED PRODUCTS?
Shelf life of dehydrated products is infinite–as long as you can isolate them from moisture and oxygen. The suggested shelf-life of our products (opened or sealed) is 12-24 months. The reason the range is so broad is because of climate variations. This is assuming an average climate and original packaging. If you live in an excessively humid environment or do not have a climate controlled house the shelf life of the products will be reduced. Our products are packaged for daily use and are not “survival grade” quality. However, because of the quality of our food, many users feel safer using them for their long-term storage needs as well.

DO DEHYDRATED PRODUCTS LOSE THEIR NUTRITIONAL VALUE IN PROCESSING?
The good news is that the nutritional content of dehydrated vegetables is nearly identical to that of fresh! The slow, air drying process preserves the nutrition while evaporating the water. Thus, you are left with concentrated nutrition kilogram for kilogram versus fresh. In fact, of all the food processing techniques available, dehydrated products maintain more of their nutrition than frozen or canned food. You can enjoy the longer shelf-life of dehydrated products, the convenience, and the taste without sacrificing the nutrition
HOW & WHAT CAN I COOK WITH YOUR PRODUCTS?
We understand our products are not mainstream & it is not obvious what you might use them for. We are busy in the background working on a range our recipes which will be uploaded to our website every Monday.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
We know that buzz we all get when we place an online order. That excitement can quickly fade when the shipping process drags on, it is the worst not knowing if the order has been packed & shipped. At Lasting Harvest, 99% of the time your order will be packaged up & shipped within 24 hours of receiving the payment but for that 1% of the time we provide a guarantee that all orders will be packed & shipped within 48 hours of receiving the payment.

On the off chance your order will take longer than 48 hours to ship, we will be in contact via email or phone to explain the reason for the delay.

Delivery is usually via Australia Post but can vary depending on your location & size of order. Tracking notifications are always provided via email or text message or sometimes both.

While we take special care in setting up our shipping rates so us or our customers aren’t out of pocket, it can happen from time to time that we come across a location where the shipping charges from our website might not meet the actual cost. Where the difference is a few dollars, do not worry we will cover this cost however we do reserve the right to charge extra postage if our previously set website price differs from the actual price by more than $4. If this happens for your order, we will get in touch via email or phone to discuss further.
If you order is urgent, we have an express shipping available upon checkout.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY
Because we take quality control seriously, we can only accept returns if the packaging is unopened and returned with 10 days. If you wish to make a return please notify us at info@lastingharvest.com.au . The return shipping costs will be at your own expense.

If you have placed an order & changed your mind before we have shipped it, we can refund you the purchase price. This refund needs to be processed via the same payment method as the original order. Contact us straight away if you have changed your mind.
MY ORDER WAS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT, WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
We will be very sorry to hear if this has happened but we understand these things happen from time to time. Please take a photo of the goods as soon as you realise the goods are damaged & email the photos to us. We will work together on a solution.
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO WE OFFER?
You have to option to pay via PayPal or Credit Card securely from our store.
Any offers which may be available from PayPal are managed through your account with them.
ARE MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS SECURE?
To receive credit card payments, we use third party providers, Paypal & Stripe. We strongly believe these companies have the best policies in place to protect your personal information. If you have any concerns or questions about their security, we would recommend heading to their websites for further information.

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SOURCED FROM?
We source our products from a number of Australian Distributors who source them from either an Australian supplier or from an overseas supplier. Please refer to the product information section for the country of origin for each item.

Some product availability is seasonal, so depending on seasonal availability our suppliers may source products from different locations.

We aim to provide Australian grown products where possible, we also source organic options where possible to ensure that you are buying the best possible quality product at all times.
